  RIP OFF - STAY AWAY
  
  We rented Calmada as an event venue, and afterward discovered that they are not permitted to have amplified music on their property. We cancelled WELL WITHIN the contract cancellation period and the owners (Benoit & Chris) blew us off for months without returning our deposit. When they finally did return the deposit, their check bounced! They have since disappeared and will not return phone calls or emails. We are taking them to court. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
